As a Certified member of CIPS residing in the province of British Columbia (i.e. as a holder of the I.S.P. designation), you are automatically a member of CIPS BC. You are still affiliated directly with your home Section.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors consists of a President, Vice President, Past President, Secretary, Treasurer, the CCITP (Canadian Council of Information Technology Professionals) representative, plus no less than 3 and no more than 11 Directors. Vacancies that may exist after elections are filled via appointments by the Executive Committee. All board members must be Certified Members of CIPS BC (i.e. provisional and honorary members cannot serve on the board). NOTE: all board members hold their I.S.P. so it is not listed in the following table.
